Who Are We?

Hi, I'm Matt House, the founder of South West Drone Guy. In 2024, I decided to to turn my passion of drone flying, combined with my amateur photography hobby and day-job background of civil engineering all into one and start a drone business.

I have been flying drones as a hobby since mid 2023, using them as a photography tool and posting my content on social media. I have a day-job as a civil engineer and have always wanted to combine it with the drone flying.

Today's drone technology is incredibly powerful and I love being able to use drones to help clients fulfill their requirements.

Where Are We Based?

We are based in Street, in the heart of Somerset. Ideally placed to travel across the county to places like Taunton, Yeovil, Weston Super Mare, Bath and Bristol.

While we are based in Street, we can provide our services across the whole of the South West of England.

Licensed, Insured and Experienced

We hold all the necessary licenses, qualifications and insurances to operate drones commercially within the UK. Our pilots fly regularly and have a wealth of experience.

We hold full public liability insurance as required by the CAA
